Is Lick Honest Ice Creams Still Open? Food Paradise Update (Austin, TX)

Food Paradise, Season 13 Austin, Texas

Current status

Open

As of October 2026, Lick Honest Ice Creams is listed open on Yelp, reviewed by our team on September 21, 2026; not yet independently confirmed through direct contact.

What the source shows: Re-checked 2026-09-21: the Yelp source_url could not be re-rendered via direct fetch; the brand's own site (ilikelick.com) is live with September 2026-dated promotions (Affogato Day Sept 6, a gift-card offer running through 9/14), confirming the business remains active, but this check did not confirm the South Lamar location specifically, so the existing Yelp-sourced record is retained unchanged. What happened after Food Paradise?

Lick Honest Ice Creams appeared in the 'Farm to Feast' episode (S13E11), which featured the Austin ice cream shop's small-batch, honestly sourced flavors. The shop operates on South Lamar Boulevard in Austin's South Lamar retail corridor. The business's own website carried a 2019 copyright with no newer content, which alone is not proof of current status. A Yelp business listing for the South Lamar location, updated July 2026, shows 1,367 photos and 1,469 reviews and lists the shop as active at 1100 S Lamar Blvd. Google Places also lists the business as operational. The shop's own site describes its offerings as Texas-made ice cream crafted with honest ingredients, per its page title captured in the evidence. No dated source found any indication of a closure, relocation, or ownership change at this location.
