What happened after Food Paradise?

Food Paradise's 'Deep Fried Paradise 4' episode featured The Mighty Cone, an Austin food trailer credited as one of the city's pioneering food-truck operations and known for its fried avocado and chicken 'cone' sandwiches, according to a guest profile on the local blog The Austinot. The truck originally operated near South Congress before relocating to The Picnic food truck park at 1720 Barton Springs Road, according to Roaming Hunger's business listing for the truck. According to Yelp, whose page for the Barton Springs Road address carried 504 accumulated reviews and was last updated in July 2026, the business was marked permanently closed. Tripadvisor separately maintained a review listing for the truck under the same Austin address, reflecting its long run as a stop on the city's food-trailer circuit before the closure recorded on Yelp.
