What happened after Food Paradise?
The "Burrito Paradise" episode (S5E7) featured Lucha Libre Taco Shop for its burritos and lucha-libre-themed presentation at its Mission Hills location in San Diego. According to Wikipedia, revised June 2026, Lucha Libre Taco Shop is a fast-casual Mexican restaurant founded in 2008, known for its elaborate, colorful interior, with additional locations in North Park and Pacific Beach. The restaurant's own website, checked September 2026, lists current hours, an active online-ordering system, and a promotion running from October 1 through October 31, 2026 bringing back four burritos.
Google Places lists the Mission Hills location's business status as operational. No dated source reports a closure or relocation since the episode aired; the current website content, active ordering system, and the ongoing 2026 promotion indicate the restaurant continues to operate at its original San Diego address.
