What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
On Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives episode 'Culinary Adventure' (aired 2022-11-25), the show featured Tuetano Taqueria, a birria taqueria in San Diego, California, built around handmade tortillas and specialty bone-marrow tacos, a menu that also drew attention from the Michelin Guide and other national food coverage. The restaurant operated at 2548 Congress Street, with a second San Diego location near San Ysidro. According to Yelp, whose page for the Congress Street address was updated in June 2026, that location is marked permanently closed; a separate Yelp listing for the San Ysidro address was updated the same month and also marked closed. Google Places listed the business as permanently closed when checked in September 2026, consistent with both Yelp listings. No fresher source describing either location as reopened, relocated, or under new ownership was found.
