What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

On Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives episode 'Down South & South of the Border' (aired 2023-05-19), Guy Fieri visited Madre, a boutique taqueria in Boise, Idaho known for tacos and Mexican street food. The restaurant is located on South La Pointe Street and runs a companion catering operation called The Trailer by Madre for events. A September 2026 check of the taqueria's website, madre-tacos.com, found the site fully active, with working pages for hours and location, an online ordering system, gift card purchases, and job listings, plus a separate menu link for a second concept called Madres Temper. Google Places lists Madre's business status as operational. Between the live, transactional website and the current Google listing, the taqueria appears to be continuing normal service in Boise more than three years after its television feature.
