What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's Bacon Paradise 2: Another Slab, which aired in 2012, featured chef John Berryhill's bacon-driven cafe concept in Boise, built inside a banquet room of Berryhill's original restaurant complex. According to a Food Republic profile of the concept, the cafe -- later known as Bacon and also referred to as Berryhill Bacon -- put the smoked staple across much of its menu and had served more than 100,000 guests a year within a decade of opening in 2011. Yelp's listing for Berryhill & Co, sharing the same 9th Street address, was updated 2026-08 and marks that business permanently closed; Berryhill Bacon's own 'Our Story' page (berryhillbacon.com) describes John Berryhill closing that original restaurant in 2017, after 20 years, to focus on family. This record could not confirm,, whether the bacon cafe itself is still operating under either name, separately from the closed fine-dining restaurant at the same address.
