What happened after The Hotel Inspector?

Meudon Country House Hotel, near Falmouth in Cornwall, was featured in the sixth episode of series 9 of The Hotel Inspector (Channel 5), first aired on 2012-08-09. Wikipedia's episode list, read on 2026-10-19, titles it "Meudon Country House Hotel + Restaurant" and says Alex Polizzi traveled to Falmouth to help father-and-son team Harry and Mark with their 29-bedroom country house hotel. Wikipedia places it in Falmouth, while the hotel's own address is in the village of Mawnan Smith, Falmouth. The list does not describe the changes made after the visit.

The hotel now presents itself as Hotel Meudon. Its website, read on 2026-10-19, gives the address as Mawnan Smith, Falmouth, Cornwall, TR11 5HT, and carries a 2026 copyright footer. The page title describes a Falmouth hotel in Cornwall with a beach, and the page invites visitors to book a room. Its "Book Direct" link carries a sample search for 26 to 27 June 2026. A banner advertises a membership scheme, "Your Meudon", offering at least 10 percent off bookings, seasonal offers and priority access to selected packages and events. Other menu items include gift vouchers, festive breaks and seasonal packages, without dates. The page names no owners, so it does not show whether Harry and Mark still run the hotel, and it does not mention the television series.

Google Places lists Hotel Meudon on Maenporth Road, Mawnan Smith, TR11 5HT, as operational on 2026-10-19.
