What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited MFK in the episode "Culinary Journey," aired September 7, 2018, for its small-plates menu drawing on Catalan and Basque coastal cooking. The 16-seat restaurant, opened in 2014 below street level on West Diversey Parkway in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood, built a following that earned it multiple Michelin Bib Gourmand mentions. Chicago Food Magazine reported on March 9, 2026 that founders Scott Worsham and Sari Zernich-Worsham had sold the restaurant to three longtime staff members — general manager Neal Neumann, wine-and-events lead Taryn Shaw, and executive chef Matt Ginsburg. Worsham told the magazine, "this team is better at this than we are, honestly." The restaurant's own website still lists the same Diversey Parkway address and continues operating under the mfk. name.
