What happened after The Hotel Inspector?

Michelangelo's is a hotel, bar and Italian restaurant on Stella Road in Ryton, Blaydon-on-Tyne, run by brothers Paolo and Giacomo. The Wikipedia list of Hotel Inspector episodes records the Channel 5 visit (series 16, episode 5, aired 2021-07-08) as Alex Polizzi being enlisted to rescue the family business. TVmaze's episode listing says customers had drifted away after Paolo stepped back from the business following an illness, leaving profits poor. NewcastleWorld, in an article published 2022-08-11 about the follow-up episode, described a restaurant that did well beside a hotel side that had been neglected, with bedrooms painted a dull brown.
