What happened after Food Paradise?

Mudgie's Deli and Wine Shop appeared as the Detroit stop on Bigger Is Better, spotlighting the shop's stacked, scratch-made sandwiches built with no cold cuts, alongside its house-made soups, sides, and a rotating list of craft beer and wine. Mudgie's opened in Detroit's Corktown neighborhood in 2008 as a combination deli, wine shop, and full bar with a neighborhood patio. The deli's own website, last modified 2026-09-05, lists current hours of Wednesday 11am-3pm, Thursday through Saturday 11am-10pm, and Sunday 11am-3pm, alongside an active online-ordering system for its sandwiches. A Yelp listing for the shop, updated 2026-08, carries more than 1,000 reviews and lists the address as 1300 Porter St, matching Mudgie's own site rather than the Brooklyn Street address returned by an initial Google Places lookup.
