What happened after Food Paradise?

The Boston episode featured the No Name Restaurant, a no-frills seafood spot on the Boston Fish Pier known for serving fresh fish chowder and broiled catch to dockworkers and tourists alike, without ever adopting a formal name beyond the one its founder shrugged off. The restaurant opened in 1917 as a stand for pier fishermen before growing into a full-service dining room on Boston's South Boston waterfront. According to the Boston Globe (2019-12-30), the No Name Restaurant announced its closure after more than 100 years in business.

WBUR reported the following day, 2019-12-31, that the restaurant had closed permanently, ending a run of more than a century under the same family's management. A Google Places location tied to this record actually reflects a different, unrelated Boston waterfront business, the Boston Sail Loft; it is not a successor to or connected with the No Name Restaurant.
