What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's “Buffet Paradise” (aired 2013) featured Nordic Lodge, the all-you-can-eat seafood restaurant on Pasquiset Pond in Charlestown, Rhode Island, known for a spread of lobster, crab, prime rib, and filet mignon served family style. The Persson family has continuously owned and operated the restaurant since it opened in 1963. In February 2023, according to Wikipedia, the business renamed itself from Nordic Lodge to The Nordic. Yelp's listing for The Nordic, updated in July 2026, and Google Places both show it currently operating, and OpenTable's 2026 listing put the restaurant's season pricing at $145 per adult. our site check found stale content dated to mid-2025, but the more recent third-party listings confirm the restaurant, now under its new name, is still serving diners today.
