What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
On the November 2015 episode 'Piggin' Out,' Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Northbound Smokehouse and Brewpub, a smokehouse and in-house brewery in Minneapolis's Longfellow neighborhood. The segment featured the kitchen's house-smoked pork, prepared low and slow in the smokehouse tradition and paired with the brewpub's own beer. Northbound operates from a corner building at 2716 East 38th Street. A direct check of the brewpub's own website on 2026-09-08 found posted hours of Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., along with a 2025 copyright notice. Yelp's listing for the business, updated in September 2026, separately shows more than 500 reviews and hours matching those on the brewpub's own site.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
