What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise (Travel Channel) featured Pagu in the 'Sandwich Heroes' episode, spotlighting a Japanese-Spanish fusion sandwich from the restaurant's shared-plates menu. Pagu is a restaurant in Cambridge's Central Square area combining Japanese and Spanish cooking techniques, and the business has received a Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction according to its own website. The restaurant's site, checked on 2026-09-08, carried a 2026 copyright notice and listed an active online shop, reservations system, and an events and weddings program, along with a note referencing a 'Dine Out Boston 2026' promotion. The presence of current-year content and a working reservation and ordering system indicate the restaurant continues to operate from the Massachusetts Avenue address filmed for the episode. No additional third-party source was consulted for this record.
