What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Pak's Green Corner for its Worldwide Flavorfest episode (aired 2014-09-26), spotlighting the Thai restaurant's comfort dishes like pad thai and curry built from family recipes. The small storefront operated on Grand Avenue in Duluth's West End neighborhood. According to the Duluth News Tribune, owner Kamolpak Williams announced in October 2014 that Pak's Green Corner would close on 2014-11-08 after the property was sold to Superior Choice Credit Union. Williams told the paper she wanted to spend more time with her husband and daughter, who had recently arrived from Thailand, saying "This restaurant takes a lot of time from me." No reporting since the 2014 closure indicates the restaurant reopened elsewhere or changed ownership; the Grand Avenue address is no longer operating as Pak's Green Corner.
