What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Kounty Quarthouse for its Small Town Standouts episode (aired 2014-10-03), highlighting the courthouse-themed bar's scratch-made American pub fare, from burgers to full steak dinners, served in a building dating to Prohibition. The South Range spot leaned into its legal theme throughout, right down to restrooms labeled as interrogation rooms. According to b105country, the last Facebook post from Kounty Quarthouse's owners indicated the bar closed its doors in May 2017. The article, published 2022-05-09, also noted the property changed hands in fall 2020 when it was purchased by Kosta Limberios. A Yelp listing updated March 2026 continues to mark the business as permanently closed, with no indication a new restaurant has opened at the County Road K address since.
