What happened after The Hotel Inspector?

The Paramount Hotel in Nottingham appeared in series 10, episode 5 of The Hotel Inspector (Channel 5), which aired 2014-03-06. According to Wikipedia's episode list, the owners pushed presenter Alex Polizzi so hard that she nearly walked out, the first time she had come close to doing so on the show. TheTVDB's episode page describes the visit as her toughest challenge yet, as she tried to reverse the hotel's decline.

Alex came back about 18 months later. In the 2015 series The Hotel Inspector Returns, the Paramount episode aired on 2015-09-01 (TheTVDB listing, series 3, episode 1). TheTVDB's description says she checked on owners Mary and Milad, who had been worn out and short of money at the first visit, and looked at whether the earlier decor was gone, whether a shisha den had closed and whether the garden had improved. It adds that the restaurant had returned and that a squeaky door might be a problem. Amazon Prime Video's listing for the same series gives a shorter outline of the visit, and Wikipedia's episode list cross-references the revisit.

A Google Maps listing for Paramount Hotel at 328 Mansfield Road, Mapperley Park, Nottingham NG5 2EF carried an operational business status when checked on 2026-10-19. That listing is undated, and no hotel website, opening hours or review dated 2026 was found for this entry, so the 2015 revisit is the most recent dated account located.

A Google Maps listing checked 2026-10-20 shows the Paramount Hotel at 328 Mansfield Road in Nottingham as a hotel that is not marked closed, with room rates offered through booking sites; the newest Google review is about a year old.
