What happened after The Hotel Inspector?
LG Thai Derm Spa and Guest House, also shown as Loughborough Grange, is a guest house on Leicester Road in Loughborough, Leicestershire. According to TheTVDB's overview of the Channel 5 visit (series 17, episode 1, aired 2022-06-16), first-time hoteliers Hasmeeta and Bharat, a married couple, bought a Thai-themed business with a spa, a 24-seat restaurant and ten guest rooms. TheTVDB's overview says the business got through the pandemic at a steep price and then faced rooms that were not clean, a broken spa and disorganized management. The Wikipedia list of Hotel Inspector episodes likewise describes the owners as first-time hoteliers.
TVmaze's listing for the later revisit says Alex Polizzi helped the owners overhaul the business during her first visit. The business returned to television as “Loughborough Grange Revisit” (series 19, episode 11, aired 2024-06-13, according to TVmaze and Wikipedia), an episode that TVmaze says asks whether the owners made the most of her help. TVmaze's listing for that episode describes a guest house run by a husband-and-wife team, with a Thai spa with treatment rooms, a 24-seat Thai restaurant and ten guest rooms. A Google Maps listing for Loughborough Grange Guesthouse, Thai Restaurant and Spa treatments gives 146 Leicester Road, Loughborough LE11 2AQ as its address.
A Trip.com guest review dated 25 March 2025 for Loughborough Grange Guesthouse & Spa Treatments, 146 Leicester Road, said the guest, who had booked through Groupon, found the premises closed and empty on arrival and spoke to new owners. Trip.com shows its most recent reviews from February and March 2025, and the Hotels.com listing for LG Thai Derm Spa & Guesthouse at the same address shows its newest reviews from February 2025 and none from 2026. Both listings still offer bookable rates.
Loughborough Grange Revisit, series 19, episode 11 of The Hotel Inspector (Channel 5), aired 2024-06-13 and returned to the Loughborough guest house that Wikipedia's list of the show's episodes records under the earlier name LG Thai Derm Spa and Guest House. According to that list, the property first appeared in series 17 as a business run by first-time hoteliers, and the revisit is overall episode 166. The list gives the revisit a title and air date but no description, and TVmaze and TheTVDB carry no summary for it either, so the sources read do not show what the revisit covered.
