What happened after The Hotel Inspector?

Sea Air Bed & Breakfast, a seven-bedroom 1930s former hotel in Chapel St Leonards on the Lincolnshire coast near Skegness, was the subject of series 19, episode 2 of The Hotel Inspector (Channel 5), aired 2024-04-04. According to TVmaze's episode summary, Mark and Liz had taken on the business with their savings, hoping to start a new life by the sea with their daughter. About two months in, during Skegness's busy summer season, they had barely unpacked and were short on resources, and because of a health setback for Mark, Liz was running the business alone. TVmaze's summary describes Alex Polizzi urging them to act quickly to maximize summer profits, suggesting attractive packages and an improved dining room to help them through the winter, and notes that the building still needed major maintenance.

Since then, the trip.com listing for Sea Air B&B at 25 South Road, Chapel St Leonards PE24 5TL shows seven rooms and guest reviews dated from 2025-08-27 to 2026-09-30. A second travel listing, thetophotels.com, gives the same address for Sea Air B&B, with a page title that refers to special offers for 2026, and describes a guest house with on-site parking, a restaurant serving British cuisine, a bar, and family, guest and king rooms. A Google Places search for the name returned a Sea Air BnB listing at the same address. The seven-room count and the Chapel St Leonards location match TVmaze's description of the episode's property. None of the sources read says whether Mark and Liz still run it or describes what changed after filming.

Wikipedia's list of The Hotel Inspector episodes records the episode as Sea Air Bed & Breakfast, aired 4 April 2024.
