What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?
"The Best Thing I Ever Ate" (episode "Burgers") featured Pearl's Phat Burgers' oversized burger creations, served at this small counter-service burger joint in downtown Mill Valley, California. The restaurant operated on East Blithedale Avenue, the town's main commercial strip, a short walk from the central Mill Valley depot plaza. A Foursquare listing observed 2026-09 marks the address as no longer open, and a Yelp listing for the same address, also observed 2026-09, likewise marks the business closed. Neither listing shows a specific closure date, and no current working website could be found for the business. The related Pearl's Deluxe Burgers chain, a separate business operating primarily in San Francisco, remains open and should not be confused with this Mill Valley location.
