What happened after The Hotel Inspector?

The Plume of Feathers, a pub at Castlemorton at the foot of the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire, is the likely setting of the Hotel Inspector episode first shown on 2026-04-23 (series 21, episode 6). According to TheTVDB's entry, Alex Polizzi travelled to the Malvern Hills for what the show treated as one of her harder cases, with a 24-year-old landlord who had no bar experience and was clearly struggling. The Viewers Guide listing names the landlord as Hendrik and says he had never worked behind a bar and set prices by instinct. It describes a chaotic beer garden and strained family relationships, with his parents helping to run the pub while he found it hard to direct them. Over two days, it says, Polizzi cleared clutter, redesigned the menu and encouraged him to take charge.

The episode sources give only the Malvern Hills as the location, so the link to the Castlemorton pub rests on the name, the area and the first name Hendrik, which appears in the pub's contact email address and in a website post about a monthly car meet. The pub's website does not mention the programme.

The pub's own website, titled "Plume of Feathers, Malvern", gives the address as Gloucester Road, Castlemorton, WR13 6JB. It lists Tuesday 5pm to 10pm and Wednesday to Sunday 12pm to 10pm, with Monday closed, and offers reservations. Its news items include a Sausage & Cider Fest on 2026-06-06, a post dated 2026-08-11 about PlumeFest on 21 to 23 August 2026 (described as the third year of that event) and an OktoberFest on 3 and 4 October 2026. It also lists monthly car meets on the last Saturday of each month and Wednesday music nights. A Google Maps listing for the Plume of Feathers is marked operational. The sources read for this entry do not describe what changed at the pub after filming.
