What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
On Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives' 'Fresh, Filled and Fried' episode (aired 2010-11-01), Guy Fieri visited the Porthole Restaurant, a seafood spot tucked along Portland, Maine's working waterfront on Custom House Wharf. The Porthole describes itself on its own website as embodying 'the essence of a classic Northeast diner,' serving seafood and waterfront fare with live music and private-event space. A live check of portholemaine.com on 2026-09-08 found the site returning normally with a 2026 copyright notice and posted hours of 7 am to 9 pm daily, according to the restaurant's own website. The site also listed seasonal December-January hours varying by day, along with menus, a private-events page, and merchandise for sale.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
