What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
On Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives' 'Gone Global' episode (aired 2010-11-08), Guy Fieri visited Savarino's Cucina, a counter-service Italian diner in Nashville's Hillsboro Village neighborhood. The restaurant, run by Corrado and Maria Savarino, served scratch-made Italian fare including homemade fettuccine, stacked Italian-style sandwiches, and house-made gelato, alongside a bakery and coffee counter. A DinersDriveInsDivesLocations.com profile of the restaurant, updated 2025-07-15, reported that Savarino's Cucina closed for good on April 29, 2017 when the Savarinos retired, and listed its phone number as permanently closed. Wikipedia's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives episode list separately flags the restaurant as closed.
