What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Ramona Cafe in the San Diego County town of Ramona, spotlighting its oversized pecan cinnamon rolls alongside a chicken cordon bleu plate. The family-run diner has operated on Main Street since 1936, building a reputation for large-portion, scratch-cooked home cooking in a casual setting. A Google Places business listing for the 628 Main St address shows the cafe's status as operational as of 2026-09-07. The restaurant's own website, ramonacafe.com, returned an access-blocked error rather than a page when checked directly on 2026-09-08, so it did not show current hours or a menu. A Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives fan site lists the cafe as still open, though it notes that no recent visitor has independently confirmed it.
