What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
SanRemo Bakery was the Toronto stop in the 2015-05-22 episode of You Gotta Eat Here! (season 4, episode 17), where host John Catucci visited an Italian bakery, according to TheTVDB's episode listing. BlogTO's bakery profile, which carries no date, places SanRemo on Royal York Road in Etobicoke, reports that it opened in 1969 under the founder and two of his brothers and is now run by the next generation of the family, and notes the Food Network appearance. The profile describes donuts, a donut panini filled with gelato, stuffed Vienna bread, cannoli, gelato, espresso and an Italian hot table with lunch specials. On 2026-08-20, Job Bank, the Government of Canada's job board, carried a bakery clerk posting from SanRemo Bakery Inc. at 374 Royal York Road. Google Maps data used for this entry also lists the bakery as operational at that address.
