What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Santo Taco in the episode 'Tacos, Tots and Chops,' which aired 2021-11-19, spotlighting the Salt Lake City taqueria's tacos. Santo Taco operates its original Rose Park flagship at 910 N 900 W alongside a second downtown Salt Lake City branch. According to a Yelp business page for the Rose Park location updated in August 2026, the listing carries several hundred reviews and remains active, and Google Places lists the business as operational as of the 2026-09-08 check. The restaurant's own website returned an HTTP 403 error to an automated check on the same date, which more likely reflects a bot-blocking measure than a closure, since both the Yelp listing and Google Places independently show the Rose Park location currently operating.
