The downtown location at 336 W 300 S now operates as Bruges Belgian Bistro, and a Yelp listing for that address, updated 2026-09, shows it active with nearly 1,000 reviews.
The business's website, brugeswaffles.com, currently lists three Salt Lake-area locations — downtown, Sugar House, and the airport — along with an online ordering option. Google Places records the downtown address as operational. No dated announcement of a formal name change from Bruges Waffles & Frites to Bruges Belgian Bistro was found; the current branding was confirmed only through the business's present-day website and listings.
