What happened after Man v. Food?
On Man v. Food (S3E4, aired 2010-06-30), the crew's tour of Richmond included the Museum District bar then operating as Caliente, opened in 2004 by owner Bender according to the tavern's own website. The space was renamed Sheppard Street Tavern in 2016, per the same site, and continues to operate as a neighborhood pub on Park Avenue. According to the business's website, accessed 2026-09-08, the tavern is currently open Friday 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., and offers online ordering. Google Places lists the location, 2922 Park Ave, as operational. The tavern describes itself as a longtime gathering spot for locals and visitors in the Museum District, carrying forward the same address and general pub concept that hosted the original episode visit.
