What happened after You Gotta Eat Here!?
TheTVDB's episode guide lists the Shish-Kabob Hut segment of the 2012-08-15 episode as featuring a hot pepper and feta spread; the description cuts off before naming anything else. ptbocanada.com, in a spotlight article dated 2011-07-26, reported that the Peterborough, Ontario restaurant had been in business since 1976, making 2011 its 35th year, and was run by a second-generation owner. According to that article, it began at the corner of Parkhill and Water before moving to 220 King Street, offered dining, take-out, catering and party rentals, and had been the first winner of the GPA EDC's EPIC Ventures program. The article also said the restaurant would appear on Food Network Canada's You Gotta Eat Here! and told readers to watch for the episode. A public Google Maps listing for Shish-Kabob Hut at 220 King Street, checked 2026-10-19, marks the business as permanently closed.
