What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured South Philadelphia Tap Room in the episode "Traditional Gone Wild," aired 2013-05-13, highlighting the gastropub's from-scratch bar fare and rotating beer selection. The Tap Room is a neighborhood beer bar and gastropub at 1509 Mifflin Street in South Philadelphia. A site check of southphiladelphiataproom.com on 2026-09-08 found the business advertising itself as open seven days a week for indoor and outdoor dining, with a live "Order Takeout & Delivery" widget alongside Menus, Hours & Info, Events, and Private Parties pages. The same site listed active Instagram and Facebook links and continued to sell gift cards under the Tap Room name, consistent with day-to-day operation at the Mifflin Street address rather than a stale, unmaintained page.
