Season 4, episode 10 of You Gotta Eat Here! (aired 2015-04-03) had host John Catucci tasting duck confit poutine at the Sovereign Room in Thunder Bay, Ontario, according to TVmaze's episode summary. The Sovereign Room, which calls itself the Sov, is at 220 Red River Road. Its own website lists service Tuesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., no reservations, a menu of pasta, charcuterie, pizza, wings, poutine and salads, and a 2013 Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce annual business award; a customer review reproduced there praises a remodeled interior. The website gives no dates for the hours or the review. A Google Maps listing for the business, viewed 2026-10-19, adds an opening-date-to-come notation to the business name and a temporarily closed marker, which does not match the website's hours.
