What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Delta Diner for its Old School Joints episode (aired 2014-10-31), spotlighting the roadside diner's scratch-made American comfort food served in a small-town Wisconsin setting. The diner opened in 2003 on the site of the historic Delta Store, which had burned down in 1974 after operating since 1924, and became a fixture for travelers along the South Shore of Lake Superior. According to Northern News Now, owners Todd and Nina paused operations on 2025-04-28 after two decades running the business, saying "it is time to hand off the reigns" to new ownership. The diner's own website still carried that message during a 2026-09-08 check, noting the owners had retired and inviting a buyer to continue operating the restaurant. No source found reports the diner has reopened under new management.
