According to Route 66 News, Standard Diner closed after 14 years at 320 Central Avenue SE on 2020-09-07 and reopened days later as Range Cafe under the same owners, carrying over several Standard Diner menu items that had appeared on the show. According to Route 66 News, that Range Cafe location closed for good on 2025-12-27, with operators citing a probable sale of the building. The Range Cafe had added new menu offerings after the 2020 conversion, according to a December 2020 report from The Paper., a local Albuquerque outlet.
