What happened after Food Paradise?
In the 'Surf and Turf' episode, Surf and Turf Truck was featured for its lobster rolls and other surf-and-turf combinations served from a mobile food truck. Surf and Turf Truck operated as a family-run food truck based in Tampa, Florida, taking catering inquiries by email. A Google Places listing shows the truck's business status as permanently closed. The truck's own website, which carries a 2026 copyright notice, still displays a notice saying the operation closed for the rest of the summer for a staff member's maternity leave and might return in the fall. The site's schedule and menu pages otherwise remained unchanged from when the truck was regularly operating, and no dated update confirming a reopening or providing a specific closure date was found anywhere on the site.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
