What happened after The Hotel Inspector?

The Chilterns View is a lodge and glamping business at Ewelme Down Farm, Ewelme, in South Oxfordshire, featured in series 19, episode 3 of The Hotel Inspector (Channel 5), aired 2024-04-18 under the title Chiltern View. TheTVDB's episode overview describes Alex Polizzi stepping in to help an owner named Rachel, whose luxury lodges business in Oxfordshire was losing money and at serious risk of closing. The sources read for this entry do not describe the changes made during filming.

The business's own website, viewed on 2026-10-19, describes a collection of five secluded lodges with individual hot tubs and views of the hills, plus two safari tents. Its footer reads copyright 2026 Chilterns Retreat Ltd, and the page names Rachel Wallis as founder of that company. The website does not mention the television appearance. The trip.com listing for The Chilterns View, at Down Farm, Ewelme OX10 6PQ, shows seven rooms, which fits five lodges plus two tents, and lists guest reviews dated between 2025-06-30 and 2026-07-09, including ones dated 2026-02-18, 2026-05-13, 2026-06-15 and 2026-07-07. A Google Places record for the business gives its address as Ewelme Down Farm, Wallingford OX10 6PQ, with an operational business status.

Wikipedia's list of The Hotel Inspector episodes records the episode as Chiltern's View Lodges, aired 18 April 2024. The match between the episode's lodges and this business rests on the Oxfordshire location, the lodge format and the owner's first name; no source read ties the two together explicitly.
