What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited this Norfolk sandwich spot for the 2017 episode 'Ocean Coasts and Great Lakes' (aired 2017-09-15), where Guy Fieri sampled its grilled cheese sandwiches. The Grilled Cheese Bistro operates from 345 Granby St in downtown Norfolk, Virginia, building its menu around gourmet takes on the classic sandwich. According to the restaurant's own website (thegrilledcheesebistro.com), copyrighted 2026, the business currently lists hours of Thursday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday and Saturday noon to 7 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., along with a contact number of (757) 233-2512. The website does not list hours for Monday through Wednesday, suggesting the restaurant may operate on a reduced weekly schedule. No outside news coverage or social media confirmation of the current schedule was checked for this record.
