What happened after Food Paradise?
The Ice Cream Bar showcased a 1930s-style soda fountain menu — house-made ice cream, phosphates, and egg creams — from its Cole Street storefront in San Francisco's Cole Valley neighborhood. The episode captured the shop's period-accurate counter and its focus on locally sourced dairy and produce. The business describes itself on its own site as a full-service soda fountain rather than a quick-serve counter. A 2026-09-08 check of that site, theicecreambarsf.com, showed an active pickup-ordering system and a working gift-certificate purchase link, alongside pages for its photo gallery, contact information, and hours, all loading normally at the same Cole Street address.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
