What happened after Food Paradise?

Food Paradise's 'Neighborhood Hangouts' episode featured The Liquor Store Dine + Drink, a breakfast-and-brunch diner in Memphis built inside a former Broad Avenue liquor store and outfitted with a tropical-diner theme. The restaurant serves breakfast tacos, pancakes, biscuits, and a sweet potato hash made with Cuban pork or a vegetarian sausage option, and runs a discounted "Grumpy Hour" from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on weekdays. A Yelp listing updated 2026-08 showed the restaurant active at 669 South Mendenhall Road with more than 100 reviews and recent photos. A Google Places business listing, checked 2026-09-08, separately confirmed the restaurant as operational at the same Mendenhall Road address. A search located the restaurant's current website, theliquorstorediner.com, which was not returned by the original Google Places match.
