What happened after Food Paradise?

In 'Late Night Paradise,' the show featured Surly Girl Saloon for its late-night bar menu and drink specials at a punk-inspired Short North saloon known for its irreverent decor. The saloon was part of the Columbus Food League group of Short North bars and restaurants, and it operated at 1126 N. High St. for about a decade after opening in 2005. According to Columbus Monthly, the owners closed Surly Girl Saloon on April 26, 2015, saying they no longer had the desire to run daily operations as they once had. Yelp's listing for the address was still marked permanently closed as of an April 2026 update, with no successor bar reported at the location. The saloon's Facebook page has also not posted any new updates since the closure.
