What happened after Food Paradise?
The Nook on Piedmont Park appeared in Food Paradise's "Apps Download" episode (S14E6). It is a neighborhood tavern in Atlanta's Midtown district, sitting across the street from Piedmont Park. Opened in 2009, the bar built a following around scratch-made soups, sauces, and dressings, and its signature "Totchos," a nacho platter built on tater tots instead of chips, along with a well-known patio. The Nook also runs a regular calendar of Happy Hour, trivia, and karaoke nights, and partners with community fundraising programs including one benefiting The Giving Kitchen.
According to the bar's own website, thenookatlanta.com, a 2026 copyright notice accompanies current posted hours and a working Toast online-ordering link. Yelp's page for the business, updated August 2026, continues to log new customer reviews, indicating The Nook remains open in Midtown Atlanta.
