What happened after Food Paradise?
"Deli-Licious" featured Werner's Fine Sausages and its house-made sausages and specialty cured meats, sold from a retail counter in Mission, Kansas. The shop, registered as Werner's Specialty Foods, has served the Kansas City area from Johnson Drive since 1973, according to its own website. When checked 2026-09-09, the site listed specific weekly hours — closed Sunday, shorter hours Monday, and longer hours Tuesday through Saturday — along with a phone number and a gallery of the sausage-making operation, indicating an actively maintained page rather than a stale holdover. Google Places likewise listed the Johnson Drive location as operational. Together, the two sources point to a business still running day-to-day rather than one that quietly closed while its old site stayed online.
