What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Guy Fieri sampled Cupini's Chicken Prosciutto Tortellini and praised its homemade lasagna during the December 2, 2013 episode "Pork, Pasta and Barbecue," according to a restaurant review published by The Hilltop Monitor. Cupini's is an Italian restaurant and catering business at 1809 Westport Road in Kansas City's Westport neighborhood, offering catering for weddings and banquets in addition to its dining room, according to cupinis.com. On 2026-09-08, cupinis.com was live and returned an active "Order Catering Online" button on its homepage, per a site check of the domain that day.
The same check found no explicit 2026-dated text elsewhere on the page, with the newest visible year in the page's own copy remaining 2019. The restaurant's listed phone number, (816) 753-7662, matched the number carried in OpenStreetMap-derived business data for the address.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
