What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Zerelda's Bistro is a bistro in the Mendenhall Valley area of Juneau, Alaska, at 9106 Mendenhall Mall Rd. It appeared on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives in the episode "Northern Southern," which aired 2019-11-08, with the show spotlighting the restaurant's Southern-inspired menu; the same episode also covered a fried-chicken restaurant in Massachusetts, matching the episode's contrast of northern and southern cooking. A Google Places listing marks the business as permanently closed, and a site check on 2026-09-08 found zereldasbistro.com returning a not-found error instead of the restaurant's normal pages. No specific closure date was available from either source, and no independent news coverage of a closure was located during this check. Together, the permanently-closed listing and the non-functioning website indicate the address is no longer operating as Zerelda's Bistro.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
