What happened after Food Paradise?

"The Last Food Frontier" (S15E1) featured 229 Parks Restaurant and Tavern, a roadhouse at mile 229.7 of the George Parks Highway near the entrance to Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska, its name referencing the highway mile marker. Google's Places listing for the address lists the business's status as permanently closed. The Places record lists the business's mailing city as Denali National Park and Preserve, AK 99755, reflecting the remote highway corridor rather than a distinct town center. A check of the restaurant's website, http://229parks.com/menu/, on 2026-09-08 returned an HTTP 200 response, but the page loaded with no title and no visible menu, hours, or other business content despite the "/menu/" URL path, consistent with an inactive site. No news coverage or social-media announcement of the closure was found.
