What happened after Hotel Impossible?

Hotel Impossible visited the Abacrombie Inn in Baltimore's Mount Vernon neighborhood for the episode Crack Vials and Denials (S3E1), aired August 12, 2013. The 12-room bed-and-breakfast occupied a late-19th-century former private house at 58 W. Biddle St., across from the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, with individually decorated rooms, an on-site restaurant, and an 18-space surface parking area, according to a Fodor's Travel listing. According to a 2012 GlobeSt.com report, the property had been placed up for auction that year, several years before its reported closure. The inn had operated at that address since at least the building's construction in 1900.

According to Reality TV Revisited, the Abacrombie Inn closed in January 2015 and was bought by new owners who renamed the property Biddle Street Inn. No source reviewed here confirmed whether that successor business is still operating, and no operating website for the property under any name was found during this check on 2026-09-09. Google's current business listing for Abacrombie Inn, matched to the same 58 W. Biddle St. address, shows a permanently-closed status as of this same 2026-09-09 check. The same Fodor's Travel listing placed the inn within walking distance of the Maryland Institute College of Art, the University of Baltimore, and Amtrak's Penn Station, describing its location as a draw for the property's original bed-and-breakfast business.
