What happened after Hotel Impossible?

Hotel Impossible visited the Gadsden Hotel in Douglas, Arizona for the episode Fire Drill Flame Out (S3E3), aired August 26, 2013. Episode coverage describes a 106-year-old historic hotel with guest rooms that had gone without updates and fire alarms that had been disconnected for years, prompting Anthony Melchiorri to threaten to quit filming when he learned the alarms had not been repaired. According to Reality TV Revisited, the Gadsden Hotel remained open and continued renovating its rooms, spa, and restaurant after the episode aired. Wikipedia's entry on the Gadsden Hotel, last revised September 5, 2026, describes it as a historic hotel listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 and currently owned by an entity called Bright Brains Hospitality.

A check of the property's website on 2026-09-09 found thegadsdenhotel.com live, describing the property as having hosted guests for over 100 years and listing sections for events, food and drinks, and a gallery, along with staff login and hiring pages consistent with an actively operated business. The site's booking function and staff-facing pages both loaded without error during the check. The episode's TVmaze listing gives a runtime of 43 minutes, and the Wikipedia entry separately notes the hotel's history of hosting notable guests over its more than a century of operation, without citing a current room count or rate.
