What happened after Food Paradise?
The "Boardwalk Bites" episode featured this Okaloosa Island boardwalk spot for its beach-bar burgers and frozen custard shakes rather than one specific dish, built around its spot on the boardwalk near the sand. Al's Beach Club & Burger Bar operates as a beachfront restaurant and bar at 1450 Miracle Strip Pkwy SE in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, offering burgers, baskets, and a large craft-beer selection. According to a Yelp listing for the location, updated in May 2026, the business continued to draw reviews and current hours information.
A Fort Walton Beach community news outlet, FWB Life, reported that the location reopened for the 2026 season with new menu additions, including an expanded hot-dog lineup. The pipeline's automated check of the business's own website returned an HTTP 403 block rather than page content, so this entry relies on the Yelp listing and the local news report rather than the site itself.
