What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Banksia in Kansas City, Missouri, for the episode "From Australian to Asian" (S30E10), which aired 2019-08-16, featuring the restaurant's Australian-inspired dishes with Asian influences. Banksia Bistro is an Australian-style bistro and bakehouse at 12th and Main streets in downtown Kansas City, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner along with its own bakery bread program. According to the restaurant's website (banksiabistro.com), copyrighted 2026 and checked 2026-09-08, Banksia Bistro lists current hours of Tuesday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday through Friday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and weekend hours through 9 p.m. on Saturday, and the site runs an active online ordering system.
Google's business listing, checked the same day, also shows Banksia Bistro as active at its downtown Main Street address. The 2026-dated hours and working online ordering system indicate Banksia Bistro continues to operate from the downtown Kansas City location seen on the episode.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
