What happened after Man v. Food?
The episode featured Benji's Deli & Restaurant, a Milwaukee delicatessen serving deli sandwiches alongside soup and classic sides. Benji's has operated on North Oakland Avenue since 1963, a longtime fixture of the Milwaukee deli scene. The restaurant's website (benjisdeliandrestaurant.com) was last updated September 8, 2026 and included a working online ordering feature, a catering menu, and a job postings page, indicating continued operation. The site also lists hours, directions, and a kids' party menu. No closure, ownership change, or relocation has been reported in the available evidence gathered for this record. Benji's continues to operate at its Oakland Avenue location under a name matching the one it carried when the show visited, still trading on its decades-long history of feeding the greater Milwaukee area with deli sandwiches and comfort food.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
