What happened after Food Paradise?
The 2012 episode "Bacon Paradise 2: Another Slab" featured Baconery, a bacon-themed bakery on Manhattan's Upper West Side that turned bacon into desserts such as banana bacon bread, chocolate peanut-butter bacon cookies, and bacon-infused marshmallow bars, according to Epicurean & Culture. The twelve-seat shop grew out of an online bacon-goods business before it opened a Columbus Avenue storefront, though some earlier write-ups place the shop instead at 911 Columbus Avenue nearby. Google Places lists the Columbus Avenue address given in this record as permanently closed, and Time Out New York separately carries the bakery in its "Closed" restaurants listings. A TripAdvisor forum thread has asked whether Baconery might reopen, but no current website, menu, or social media activity for the business was found in a check on 2026-09-08.
